2024

Italica awarded the following certifications: ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System; ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System; ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.

Italica certified as a Climate Partner. We are on our way to becoming a benefit corporate and will offset 50% of our CO2 emissions, with the goal of being carbon neutral by 2025.

2023

Italica has been converted into Italica Group with new management team and new goals.

Italica steps into Motorsport Market serving prestigious markets like Le Mans 24 hours.

2020

Italica acquires MV Agusta, a new customer for the Rush project.

2019

Italica employs and trains new  experts in processing composite materials and sales personnel to increase its design capacity and customers service.

2018

Italica reach a new target with the omologazione process from the World Sailing, indeed will supply three new classes on the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

2017

Italica release on the market the first ever made carbon fiber seatbox fully made in carbon fiber featuring all the in house available technologies.

2016

Every day, crowned heads, heads of State and Hollywood stars use Italica products.

Weihai Julia doubles its production capacity: the total area gets to 12,000 square meters with more than 200 employees.

2015

Italica manufacture 50% of worldwide production of windsurfing masts and accessories in carbon and composite material. This production grows together with the production of Sup paddles.

2014

Italica integrates its own research-lab with new, cutting edge electronic tools for composite and raw material analysis. It becomes one of the official suppliers of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games with the rig of an ultralight boat.

2013

Production expands to sports, industrial and automotive sectors, thanks to some new lines with hot press molding technology.

2012

Weihai Julia increases its production capacity by building a new factory: workforce grows by 35%. Important global agreements allow the use of patents on some carbon fiber artifacts.

2011

Weihai Julia, the Chinese subsidiary of Italica, increases enormously the number of its clients in the fishing rod segment.

2009/10

Many major brands (North Sails, Gaastra, Bic, Decathlon, Sultanate of Oman) trust in Italica for the development of their new carbon fiber projects.

2008

Julia WH is founded: located in China, it ensures 100% Italian quality and management.

1996

Julia Rod is converted into Italica spa. The production gets expanded with carbon fiber windsurf booms and masts. Major worldwide partnerships are established.

1994

Julia Rod is founded by a Gianni Beltrame’ s intuition, specializing in the production of carbon fiber fishing rods.
